Recently, the third West Lake Forum on Higher Education was successfully held at Westlake University, with Chu Yunyi, a 2021 undergraduate student from SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology, participating as a student representative from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During the student forum, Chu Yunyi exchanged ideas and discussed with over seventy Chinese and international student representatives from dozens of well-known universities at home and abroad, and made a concluding speech, showcasing the outstanding demeanor of young students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University on the international stage.
Recently, the "Sino-French Environment Month" event and the 2nd Engineering Culture Design Competition of SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology were grandly held in the 205 lecture hall of the Sino-French Building, with this year's theme being "Under the Same Sky / Tous sous le même ciel". A total of 81 undergraduate students from the class of 2022 participated in the competition, creating and showcasing 17 extraordinary short videos and poster works in groups.

About SPEIT
To respond to the call for implementing the Plan for the Education and Development of Excellent Engineers, a project of major reform set forth in the Outline of China’s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020), and to prepare elite engineers for social development in the future, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) co-established the SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology with the French ParisTech in 2012 after obtaining approval from China’s Ministry of Education (MoE).
