About “Excellence in Teaching Award
In order to improve the teaching quality of our faculty and to create a culture that values teaching and rewards excellence, the Center for Teaching and Learning Development at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) has established the “Teaching Excellence Award”. Based on the principle of “focusing on the learning effect of students”, the “Teaching Excellence Award” focuses on rewarding the teachers who have devoted themselves to the teaching of the courses and made the students get good learning effect, and is selected once a year.
