Recently,in order to enhance students' level of global competence and strengthen their scientific and technological innovation capabilities,the"Jump into View,Immersive Experience"AR Real - Scene Science and Innovation Experience Activity was successfully held in Mulan Building Innovation and Entrepreneurship Subcenter.
The activity,hosted by Ideological and Political Teacher Zhang Yinnong and with Peng Yongtang,a student from the OCE School of Science Association - serving as the main speakr,aimed to inspire students' interest in scientific innovation by sharing the application of AR technology in popular science practice,and lead Chinese and foreign students to jointly explore the infinite possibilities of technology in exchanges and practices.
Compared with traditional popular science,AR popular science combines the virtual and reality,which can intuitively present complex models and enhance the immersive experience. It can achieve a clever combination of the content and form of popular science and greatly improve the fun and participation of popular science. It helps to encourage everyone to connect science and the public with popular science as a bridge,and promote cross - cultural communication.
To allow students to have a deeper understanding of the production process of AR - based popular science,the relevant process was introduced on the spot,and on - site demonstrations were conducted through related examples. Students on the scene deepened their understanding and learning in the interaction and tried to participate in later work practice.
In the future,OCE will continue to explore ways to improve global competence. It will identify themes of interest to students,cultivate their academic interests,and help them move forward on the path of scientific and technological innovation,enhancing their competitiveness and contribution in the era of globalization.
