Introduction

PATRIC BRC

PATRIC is the Bacterial Bioinformatics Resource Center (www.patricbrc.org), an freely available information system designed to support the biomedical research community’s work on bacterial infectious diseases via integration of vital pathogen information with rich data and analysis tools.PATRIC is a NIH/NIAID-funded project.

SKMML, SJTU

The State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism (SKMML) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) has been investigating secondary metabolites of microorganisms, including antibiotics, and their bio-activity by using molecular microbiology, biochemistry, genomics, bioinformatics and synthetic biology.
