Shanghai Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Thermal Aging is jointly established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai ElectricalMachineryTechnologyInstitute, Shanghai SteamTurbine Generator Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. It mainly consists oftheHigh Voltage Laboratory andthePolymeric Insulation Materials Laboratory. The laboratory focuses on applied basic research and research and development on experimental technology. Its main objective is to enhance key integrated technologies and serve as technical support fordevelopingelectrical materials in Shanghai. Additionally, it aims to cultivate technical talents for enterprises and contribute to the economic development of Shanghai.
