She is keen to help her foreign friends who are new to China overcome the language difficulties and become their mentors in life and academics. She has provided translation assistance to a number of newly arrived foreign students to help them integrate smoothly into campus life. She has also organised welcome parties to provide Japanese exchange students and other international students with a warm and welcoming entrance experience, ensuring that they feel at home.
