On December 13, 2022, Shanghai Jiao Tong University held a series of activities on the celebration towards the 10th anniversary of the graduation of Zhiyuan honors students (Class of 2008) online, which were divided into three parts: "Fireside Dialogue" of top-notch talent cultivation, "10th Anniversary seminar of Zhiyuan graduates (class of 2008)" and "Alumni Academic Forum for Zhiyuan graduates (class of 2008)".

Worldwide renowned academic masters, experts and scholars are invited to attend the event and give speeches about talent cultivation, representatives include Lin Zhongqin, President of SJTU; Zhang Xiang, President of University of Hong Kong; John Hopcroft, Turing Award winner; Luo Liqun, Member of US National Academy of Sciences; James Penner-Hahn, George A Lindsay Professor of University of Michigan; Zhang Jie, Academician of CAS; Xu Xuemin, Vice Presidentof SJTU & Dean of Zhiyuan College. Heads, faculty and staff representatives of Zhiyuan College also attended the academic activities.

The event has not only reviewed the history and development of “Zhiyuan Dream”, but also built a platform for emotional exchange and ideological collision in higher education circles at home and abroad, and enabled experts to propose frontier methods of training top-of-the-line innovative talents in the new era and enhanced in-depth collaborations and exchanges.
